In today’s equine industry of high end performance horses, greatness is measured in more than just earnings — it’s measured in the early mornings, endless miles on the road, and late nights in the arena. I created The Good Gelding on the belief that every horse I offer for sale has a story worth telling and potential waiting to be unlocked.

Selected from a well rounded team of trainers, each horse listed I have personally watched progress and not only feel confident but am proud to put my name behind. These are not nationwide off -site consignments, but horses that I have had my hands and eyes on – from trainers that I have built a long lasting relationships with over the years.

Rooted in central South Dakota, we offer access for buyers to fly in, utilize indoor or outdoor facilities, ride out on the ranch, and have cattle available on site to rope. What’s even cooler? I will personally deliver your horse nationwide if you prefer not to go through an equine shipper.
